Cancer survivor, author and comedian Pete Christensen, diagnosed with stage-four incurable throat cancer in 2006, will be kicking off his national book and stand-up tour with an hour socially relevant comedy at the Historic Astor Hotel on Saturday, March 2nd. This fundraising performance is a kickoff for Pete’s upcoming Midwest book tour. Pete, originally from Milwaukee, never smoked cigarettes in his life and originally given just months to live after his diagnosis, will donate a portion of the evening’s proceeds and sales from his book to Cancer Research.
