The American Heart Association’s Jump Rope for Heart (JRFH) is a major fund raising effort for cardiac and stroke research and also encourages young people to pursue a healthy lifestyle. Ken Solis or "Dr. Jump" has been rope jumping for 35 years as well and has done demonstrations at schools for JRFH for 33 years as well as being a former professional entertainer with jump rope, national and Guinness world champion. For the past 2 years, James Stewart, a former semi-pro football player has become expert at freestyle jump rope and also works with Dr. Jump to encourage kids to stay active.
