Honor Flight the Movie is back by popular demand in select Marcus Theatres. Due to popular demand, the documentary film Honor Flight, which the Los Angeles Times calls "enormously moving," and the Chicago Tribune says is "a profound tribute to America's brave, often unsung WWII veterans" returns to 8 Marcus Cinema locations next week.
The film features four Milwaukee area World War II veterans and the local
volunteers of the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight chapter. Honor Flight is a national network that flies veterans to Washington, DC to see their memorials. Honor Flight hubs across the country are using the film to raise awareness about the program with theatrical screenings from coast to coast.
In Wisconsin, more than 15,000 people saw the film during its three day run at
Marcus Theatres December 5-7. Honor Flight also holds the Guinness World Record for the largest film screening ever when it premiered at Miller Park on August 11, 2012 for a crowd of 28,442.
