Time Warner Cable’s STEMfest
Tuesday, Oct 30, 2012

The 4th annual Time Warner Cable’s STEMfest is hosted at Discovery World and will offer 20 hands-on science, technology, engineering and math activities beyond Discovery World’s permanent exhibitions, from urban farming with Growing Power to interactive environmental challenges with UWM’s School of Freshwater Sciences.  In addition, guests to the event can see a FIRST LEGO League exhibition tournament in action with Time Warner Cable’s ten Girl Scout teams.  The STEMfest event is FREE to the community.

The event takes place as Time Warner Cable celebrates the third year of its Connect a Million Minds initiative focused on engaging youth in hands-on learning activities in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM).
