After many years of shopping for a home that suited them perfectly, Tom and Jacquie Hignite had had enough. After throwing in the towel in 1990, they used Tom's design background to start Miracle Homes. The mission of Miracle Homes is to make ergonomically designed and unique homes with logical traffic paths, extra wide stairs and plenty of room to move furniture. When asked about Miracle Homes, Tom responded, "If I were a home shopper and found a home like we offer, I'd like to think it would be a bit miraculous. Beyond the homes, we attempt to have a Christian based philosophy in the way we build homes and we wanted our name to in some way to reflect that principal." On August 21st, Miracle Homes will be unveling three Miracle "concept" homes in the Metropolitan Builders Association's 20th Annual Parade of Homes. One such concept Tom will be talking about today is Miracle Home's "Hybrid Wonder Home". For more information about Miracle Homes, check out their website listed below. |
