Granola Bars

4 c. uncooked oats (not instant)
1 c. packed brown sugar
3/4 c. melted butter
1/2 c. raisins (or golden raisins)
1/2 c. chopped nuts (more or less can be used depending on your families tastes)
1/2 c. honey
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
Preheat oven to 450. Mix all of the ingredients together using a greased spatula. Press the mixture into a greased jelly roll pan or cookie sheet. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. The bars will be light golden brown. Cool before cutting into bars. Place individual bars into sealed bags to keep the bars chewy.
