Soupe à l’Oignon
That's just a fancy way of saying "French Onion Soup". It's one of my favorite things in the entire world! Everyone who knows me, knows I'm a soup and sandwich girl. I eat sub sandwiches and wisconsin or beer cheese soup weekly.
However, I mentioned my cousin was in town and he and I wanted to do something a little fancier, more iconic to Lake Michigan. So we chose the Lake Park Bistro. This isn't the kind of meal I could afford for my wallet or waist every day..but it was FANTASTIC for an experience! We sat right there in the far corner spot with a beautiful view of the lake.. chowing on French Onion Soup (I approve!) and Halibut. Sean had the mussels and it was HUGE and tasty tasty tasy! I am a fan of the place, and it's worth the splurge if you can on a beautiful day for a change of menu that the usual soup and sandwich.
